Biography

Donna Caughlin departed her corporate career as a statistician and programmer to fulfill her role as a military spouse and mother of two young minions. Craving a creative outlet, she pursued her passion for photography. After spending years as a lifestyle photographer documenting her daughter’s elementary school years and creating video slideshows for teachers and parents, Donna began studying portrait photography, lighting, and retouching. To further enhance her skills in portrait retouching, she enrolled in the Oklahoma Academy of Classical Art (OACA) atelier program for two years to better understand the techniques of turning form on a two-dimensional space. Her studies propelled her abilities as a portrait retoucher. She loves capturing the essence and beautiful souls of her clients through portraiture. While attending OACA, she received multiple requests from local artists for artwork imaging services and giclée prints. Thriving on helping others, Donna began providing this service over two years ago, and she has enjoyed working with so many talented local artists.

Thirty years ago, Donna began dating her husband, Travis, and after 25 years of marriage, they have two teenagers—Hannah and Casey, two dogs—Ryder and Joey, and now, Travis is retired from the Air Force after 32 years of service. Donna wears another hat as a homeschool educator. Being a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics, she pulls her hair out trying to drill math into her minions’ brains.
